About this service
Aircon systems lose 10% of their refrigerant every year through normal seal wear — so by year 3, your aircon is working at 70% efficiency, costing more fuel and cooling less. A re-gas restores it to factory spec. We support both R134a (older cars) and R1234yf (post-2017). Full leak test included — if your gas escapes within 4 weeks, we will fix it free.
Frequently asked
Does my car use R134a or R1234yf?▾
Cars made before 2017 mostly use R134a. After 2017, almost all use R1234yf. We test both.
How often should I re-gas?▾
Every 2 to 3 years for most cars. If the air no longer feels cold, do not wait.
Why does aircon use fuel?▾
The compressor runs off the engine. A poorly-maintained aircon can add 10% to your fuel bill.
