A blocked diesel particulate filter (DPF) is one of the most expensive things to replace — typically 1200 to 2000 from a main dealer. But 80% of blocked DPFs can be cleaned, restoring them to near-new condition for a fraction of the cost. We start with forced regeneration; if that does not work we move to off-car deep cleaning. Most jobs are completed in a day. If your DPF light is on, do not ignore it — driving on can permanently damage the filter.

Why is my DPF light on?▾
It means your filter is partially blocked. This usually happens on cars driven mostly in town — diesels need regular motorway runs to self-clean.
Can a blocked DPF damage my engine?▾
Yes. A fully blocked DPF can cause back-pressure damage to turbos, EGR valves and even the engine itself. Address it early.
Do I really need this if I cannot afford it?▾
